Maveira Lyseanne Chua, fondly called Veira—colors youthfulness with her existence, bright smiles, and eyes half-closed from laughter. Of Indonesian, Chinese, and Dutch descent, she was born under Surabaya's heavy downpours on January 11, 1997. Her father commands operations as a mining head for a major coal firm, while her mother works as a private-sector R&D engineer. Raised in a well-to-do household with every comfort at her disposal, her parents nevertheless grounded her into a down-to-earth, self-assured individual with sharp social instincts and a strong sense of duty.

Veira, with her infectious extroversion, carved a space for herself amidst the chaos. Though her initial tough exterior might have startled some, beneath it lay a heart brimming with care and a genuine sweetness.

For seventeen years, she reveled in the City of Heroes and the warmth of her family, including her ever-curious younger sister, Michelea Lorraine Chua. After graduating from senior high school, she ventured out to pursue Civil and Environmental Engineering at Gadjah Mada University.

Living independently in a new city, she thrived in the fresh environment and built a wide network of friends. After earning her degree, Veira moved to Singapore to establish her career as an EIA consultant. Off the clock, Veira loves exploring new places with friends—fueling her lifelong passion for global travel—or simply relaxing in bed, binge-watching shows, and scrolling social media.
